Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed with ASHWORTH & HALE LTD (company number 17546684), registered at 35 Grafton Way, London, England, W1T 5DB. Please read them alongside your written quotation.

1. Quotations

Quotations are valid for 60 days and are based on the drawings and specification agreed with you. Changes after order confirmation may affect price and timings, and will be confirmed in writing before work proceeds.

2. Payment

A deposit of 50% of the order value is due on order confirmation. The balance is due on completion of installation. We accept card payments by phone for deposits and balances, taken securely via our virtual terminal, and bank transfer. We do not take payment online.

3. Bespoke goods and cancellation

Because our furniture is made to your specification, the statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply once manufacture has begun. If you cancel before manufacture begins, we will refund your deposit less any design and material costs already incurred.

4. Site readiness

You agree to provide clear access, power and a site free of other trades on agreed installation dates. Walls, floors and services should be complete and dry unless otherwise agreed.

5. Natural materials

Timber is a natural material and will vary in grain and colour, and may move slightly with seasonal changes in humidity. This is not a defect. We return to make adjustments during aftercare.

6. Guarantee

Our workmanship is guaranteed for ten years from installation. Hardware and appliances carry their manufacturers' warranties. The guarantee does not cover misuse, accidental damage or alterations made by others.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are fully insured for public liability during installation.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
